Can I use the term "REALTOR®" in connection with my team name?
No. While the term may be used in connection with your personal name and firm name, that doesn't extend to team names. Teams function as groups within a firm—and do not qualify for the use of the term REALTOR®, according to NAR.
Members who are part of a team can still use the term in connection with their personal name or firm name but not as part of it. Use punctuation to separate your name or firm name from the term REALTOR®: John Smith, REALTOR®.
What about using REALTOR or Realtor as part of an email address, as “susy@bestrealtorever.com?”
A Q&A addressing website domains (and, thus, email addresses) will publish on Monday.
Hi Linda – did you get a response to this question? Thank you. My email address for years has been betsyrussellrealtor@gmail.com 🤔

If you see it, and you will, it’s a violation that’s in the NAR’s Marks Manual. It’s also a TREC violation for using a copyrighted term in a company name without permission. NAR does not give permission to anyone for the use of their trademarked words AS A PART OR IN Company Names. Not new, has been since 1949 est.… Read more »
